The concept is for NAME members around the world to work on the same project on the same day. Each year, NAME designs a new project and makes kits available in a choice of wood and scale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>NAME Day takes place on the first Saturday of October each year<\/strong> to kick-off International Dollhouse and Miniatures Month. One could order any of the older kits in any scale. <em><strong>Gallery under construction.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2023 \u2013 \u201cThree-Sided Vignette\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s project was a three-sided scene on a round base. It brought forth a lot of creativity. <em><strong>Gallery under construction.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2022 &#8211; &#8220;NAME 50th Anniversary Display Box&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In 2022, we celebrated NAME&#8217;s 50th Anniversary by making this elaborate display box. The box was made to fit in a standard frame, which could hang on the wall, or not. It had shelves and LED lights. Each month, all year long, NAME artisans offered unique kits to make and fill the box<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nngg_shortcode_1_placeholder\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2021 &#8211; &#8220;TIKI BAR&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This year&#8217;s project was a detailed Hawaiian-style Tiki Bar. Thinking outside the box, some of us made Christmas or hot chocolate stands<em>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\nngg_shortcode_2_placeholder\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2020 &#8211; &#8220;CRAFT ROOM PART II:&nbsp; CRAFT SINK&#8221;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Continuing the Craft Room, we added a sink and cabinets<em>.<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/cincy-miniatures.org\/wp-content\/gallery\/nameday-2020craftsink\/2021image43.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\nngg_shortcode_3_placeholder\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2019 \u2013 \u201cCRAFT ROOM PART I:&nbsp; CRAFT TABLE\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This year we started furniture for a miniature craft room\u2014one that most of wish we had in real life!<a href=\"https:\/\/cincy-miniatures.org\/wp-content\/gallery\/nameday-2019crafttable\/2019CraftTable.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\nngg_shortcode_4_placeholder\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2018 \u2013 \u201cBEDROOM PART III:&nbsp; DESK &amp; CHAIR\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The desk included three drawers and an organizer hutch over the top, plus a chair. <em><strong>Gallery under construction.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2017 \u2013 \u201cBEDROOM PART II:&nbsp; THE ARMOIRE\u201d<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The armoire had three inner drawers, a large lower drawer, a hanging bar and an interior mirror. <em><strong>Gallery under construction.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2016 \u2013 \u201cBEDROOM PART I:&nbsp; GOING BUNKERS\u201d (Bunk Beds)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The first of three coordinated pieces for a bedroom, the bunk beds kit included a trundle that fit underneath.<\/p>\n\n\n\nngg_shortcode_5_placeholder\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2015 \u2013 \u201cWINDOW SHOPPING\u201d (A Shop Window)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The shop window kit could fit into a standard frame and decorated from quaint to opulent.<a href=\"https:\/\/cincy-miniatures.org\/wp-content\/gallery\/nameday-2015shopwindow\/2024ShowImage16.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\nngg_shortcode_6_placeholder\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2014 \u2013 \u201cCOZY CORNER\u201d (Corner Table &amp; Bench Seats)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Cozy Corner dining set was fun and a bit retro.<\/p>\n\n\n\nngg_shortcode_7_placeholder\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2013 \u2013 \u201cA CART FOR ALL REASONS\u201d (Peddler\u2019s Cart)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Lots can hang from the open grid on this Peddler\u2019s Cart.<\/p>\n\n\n\nngg_shortcode_8_placeholder\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2012 \u2013 \u201cTHE ALCOVE\u201d (Window Seat)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The Alcove was a wonderfully versatile display piece that could be made to surround a window or not. The center seat lifts to reveal hidden storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\nngg_shortcode_9_placeholder\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2011 \u2013 \u201cWORKCENTER\u201d (Kitchen Island)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This second kit, the Workcenter, had a butcher block top, lower cabinet and shelves at either end.
